Established in 1968, the Bundaberg Kart Club is a leading karting club in Queensland, boasting one of the best karting facilities in the state, renowned around the country. Located at Dromeside Raceway, University Dr, Branyan QLD 4670, our club an affiliated associate member of Karting Australia Ltd.
The club's track, first built at the current site in the early 1970s, has seen several upgrades over the decades, transitioning to a bitumen surface in 1989 and undergoing further layout changes in 1998 and a significant redevelopment in 2005. The Bundaberg Kart Club has a rich history of hosting prestigious events, including the first National Dirt Track Championships in 1973, followed by further National Dirt Track Championships in 1984, Queensland Bitumen State Titles in 1989 and 1992, and the Queensland State Championships in 2003 and again in 2013.
